Moorings Types

Secure Private Mooring

Opposite our Wharf at Canal Terrace we have a length of private secure gated moorings that are monitored by CCTV. Visitor parking is available at the main entrance to the moorings and each berth can be supplied with electric hookup and a water point.

The moorings are along the canal navigation on the offside bank. Therefore offer a level of privacy and security not found on towpath moorings.

Additionally our moorers have the benefit of use of our Elsan at the Wharf and can also take advantage of our long term moorer offers at the chandlery, dry dock and wharf.

We are able to accept short term and long term mooring enquiries as space permits.

Towpath Moorings

Along the length of the canal towpath between bridge 169 and lock 72 we also have exclusive mooring rights along this stretch of the towpath.

This part of the towpath benefits from a concrete path and permanent mooring rings.

We are able to offer from here boats on brokerage and also short to medium term moorings. If you have to leave your boat for longer than 14 days and need somewhere to stay that is regularly monitored and covered by CCTV then this could be an excellent choice, without the need to take out a 12 month contract, although longer term rates can be discussed.
