Location

By Car

From the M6 we recommend taking junction 18 and turning right (if travelling southbound on M6) or left (if travelling northbound) on the roundabout and exiting along Holmes Chapel Road. After 3 miles and crossing straight over  an additional roundabout you turn left onto Leadsmithy Street (A533) a little way down the road turning (200 ft or so) onto Canal Terrace taking a left just in front of a shop called Winsford Plant Hire.

Our base is at the end of the short lane on the left hand side. Welcome!

By Boat

If you are travelling to us by boat then we are at the junction no of the Middlewich Arm of the Shropshire Union Canal and Trent and Mersey Canal.

From the South (Kids Grove direction on Trent and Mersey canal) travelling north go through Kings Lock and continue straight under bridge 169. We are located under the canopy across the towpath just in front of you, our dry dock is immediately below the next lock a short distance ahead.

From the North (Anderton / Northwich direction on Trent and Mersey) travelling South go through lock 74, 73 and on the turn you will see our dry dock straight ahead. turning to the right and through lock #72 brings you straight up to our wharf where you can find us just next to the canopy overhanging the canal towpath.

From The Middlewich Arm of the Shropshire Union canal after Wardle Lock turn left and continue under bridge #169, you will then see our wharf straight ahead under the canopy across the canal on the left with our dry dock just below lock #72 a short distance ahead.
